I was a little scared to be back in a savory kitchen! The chef was amazing though. My group consisted of me, two girls from my intro to baking class and Dolly, a savory chef. We made Dolly do the dessert!
-Marinated Zucchini and Tomato Salad
-New England Clam Chowder
-New England Boiled Dinner
I worked on the salad! It was a lot of cutting things nicely, which is not my strong suit. But the dressing was really flavorful and zangy.
Now I am not a sea food fan, but I made myself take a bite of this and I can see why people like it. It had a slightly “of the sea” taste but it was also rich and flavorful (Just not my favorite flavors).
Our meat turned out kind of dry and the veggies were a little undercooked but for the first night it wasn’t bad.
This cake was amazing! And Dolly was so proud of it!
